Grace Latin Church is a church plant of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC), under the Presbytery of Florida and the Caribbean. We are dedicated to serving God and the Hispanic community in Naples with the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

"For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age." (Titus 2:11-12)
We live in an age of deep contradictions. Never has there been so much access to information and yet so much moral confusion. Never has there been so much talk of freedom while at the same time so much pressure for people to abandon their convictions. Today's culture constantly invites us to adapt our principles to the spirit of the age, to redefine what God has established, and to seek the approval of men above faithfulness to Christ.
Faced with this reality, the apostle Paul reminds Titus of a fundamental truth: the believer's answer is not fear or isolation, but the grace of God.
Grace is not only the means by which we are saved; it is also the strength by which we live. Paul says that grace "teaches us." That is, grace forms us, corrects us, and equips us to live differently in the midst of a difficult generation.
Many believe that the solution for standing firm is simply to try harder. However, the gospel shows us a better way: to depend more deeply on Christ. We do not overcome the pressure of the world by the force of our will, but by the transforming power of divine grace.
"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." (Galatians 2:20)
Christian faithfulness is born from remembering daily who we are and to whom we belong. When the believer contemplates the love of God revealed in the cross, they find strength to resist the cultural currents that try to lead them away from the path of Christ.
Augustine of Hippo understood this deeply when he wrote: "God does not command impossibilities; in commanding, He invites you to do what you can and to ask for what you cannot."
The Christian life was never designed to be lived independently of God. Every challenge, every temptation, and every cultural pressure should lead us to a deeper dependence on divine grace.
Centuries later, Martin Luther expressed a similar truth: "We are saved by faith alone, but the faith that saves is never alone."
The grace that justifies us also produces a transformed life. We do not obey to earn God's love; we obey because we have already been loved in Christ.
Therefore, in a generation that invites us to negotiate our convictions, the call of the gospel is to stand firm — not with arrogance or a spirit of superiority, but with humility, love, and an unshakeable confidence in the grace of God.
The church is called to be a community that reflects truth without ceasing to show compassion; that proclaims the holiness of God without ceasing to announce the mercy of Christ; that lives counter-culturally without losing its love for people.
The answer to difficult times is not less grace, but more grace. Not less gospel, but more gospel. Not less dependence on God, but a deeper dependence on the One who promised to sustain His people to the end.
"My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12:9)
May the Lord grant us to live with courage, humility, and faithfulness, remembering each day that the grace that saved us is also the grace that sustains us. Soli Deo Gloria.

"Porque la gracia de Dios se ha manifestado para salvación a todos los hombres, enseñándonos que, renunciando a la impiedad y a los deseos mundanos, vivamos en este siglo sobria, justa y piadosamente." (Tito 2:11-12, RVR1960)
Vivimos en una época de profundas contradicciones. Nunca ha habido tanto acceso a la información y, sin embargo, tanta confusión moral. Nunca se ha hablado tanto de libertad y, al mismo tiempo, se ha ejercido tanta presión para que las personas abandonen sus convicciones. La cultura actual nos invita constantemente a adaptar nuestros principios al espíritu de la época, a redefinir lo que Dios ha establecido y a buscar la aprobación de los hombres por encima de la fidelidad a Cristo.
Frente a esta realidad, el apóstol Pablo recuerda a Tito una verdad fundamental: la respuesta del creyente no es el miedo ni el aislamiento, sino la gracia de Dios.
La gracia no es solamente el medio por el cual somos salvos; es también la fuerza por la cual vivimos. Pablo dice que la gracia "nos enseña". Es decir, la gracia nos forma, nos corrige y nos capacita para vivir de una manera diferente en medio de una generación difícil.
Muchos creen que la solución para permanecer firmes es simplemente esforzarse más. Sin embargo, el evangelio nos muestra un camino mejor: depender más profundamente de Cristo. No vencemos la presión del mundo por la fuerza de nuestra voluntad, sino por el poder transformador de la gracia divina.
"Con Cristo estoy juntamente crucificado, y ya no vivo yo, mas vive Cristo en mí; y lo que ahora vivo en la carne, lo vivo en la fe del Hijo de Dios, el cual me amó y se entregó a sí mismo por mí." (Gálatas 2:20)
La fidelidad cristiana nace de recordar diariamente quiénes somos y a quién pertenecemos. Cuando el creyente contempla el amor de Dios manifestado en la cruz, encuentra fuerzas para resistir las corrientes culturales que intentan apartarlo del camino de Cristo.
Agustín de Hipona entendió profundamente esta realidad cuando escribió: "Dios no manda cosas imposibles; al mandar, te invita a hacer lo que puedas y a pedir lo que no puedas."
La vida cristiana nunca fue diseñada para ser vivida en independencia de Dios. Cada desafío, cada tentación y cada presión cultural deben llevarnos a una dependencia más profunda de la gracia divina.
Siglos después, Martín Lutero expresó una verdad semejante: "Somos salvos solamente por la fe, pero la fe que salva nunca está sola."
La gracia que nos justifica también produce una vida transformada. No obedecemos para ganar el amor de Dios; obedecemos porque ya hemos sido amados en Cristo.
Por eso, en una generación que nos invita a negociar nuestras convicciones, el llamado del evangelio es permanecer firmes. No con arrogancia ni espíritu de superioridad, sino con humildad, amor y una confianza inquebrantable en la gracia de Dios.
La iglesia está llamada a ser una comunidad que refleje la verdad sin dejar de mostrar compasión; que proclame la santidad de Dios sin dejar de anunciar la misericordia de Cristo; que viva contraculturalmente sin perder su amor por las personas.
La respuesta a los tiempos difíciles no es menos gracia, sino más gracia. No es menos evangelio, sino más evangelio. No es menos dependencia de Dios, sino una dependencia más profunda de Aquel que prometió sostener a su pueblo hasta el fin.
"Bástate mi gracia; porque mi poder se perfecciona en la debilidad." (2 Corintios 12:9)
